I was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana. Family is where my heart is, and I wish they could all move to Colorado. (So do they!) I attended Indiana University, where I studied Elementary Education and Psychology. GO HOOSIERS! I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and could not wait to start my journey of lifelong learning as a teacher.

I moved to Parker, Colorado two months after graduating in July 2011. I have two Puggles who have more personality than I know what to do with. Their names are Bella & Ivory. Bella loves to lay, sleep, and eat. Ivory loves to “drag” Bella by her collar, eat leaves, walk on two feet, and cuddle with her new sister. (Bella is ten and Ivory is two years old.

You are your child’s first and most important teacher! I am so excited to be working alongside you as your child’s classroom teacher. I will provide a classroom where they can grow in multiple ways. My objectives for the year will be that each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe the home and school connection is critical in having success at school.
