Mrs. Brown

Hello! Welcome to 2nd grade! I am so excited to be a part of your child's next chapter. This year will bring so much joy, learning, and blossoming! 

Here is a little about me:

My name is Caroline Brown, and I am originally from Georgia! I recently got married in May and moved out to Colorado in June! 

I attended Kennesaw State University in Georgia where I got my Bachelors in Elementary Education, and endorsements in reading/writing and ESOL. I am currently in school to get my Masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I have been teaching for 3 years this year. My previous 2 years were both teaching kindergarten. I am so excited for the joy of second grade and all of the change that comes with that. This is such a sweet age, and I truly enjoy the curriculum and standards being taught. 

In my free time, I like to read and hangout with my husband, and our new puppy, Gunner! We love to spend time outside, and Colorado has proven to be the best state for this! 

I am passionate about teaching, and even learning myself! I believe in creating an environment where children can make mistakes, have fun, and most importantly learn and grow individually, and collectively with their peers as well.
